For Sale: 1940 Chevrolet Special Deluxe in Selbyville, Delaware for sale in Selbyville, DE
Vehicle Description This is a very nice 1940 Chevrolet Special Deluxe.
It is a four door, six cylinder, 3-speed column shift manual transmission, and an all original drive-train car.
The car came to me from a deceased family member.
Prior to that, In June of 2010, the car came to us from a family member in Williamsport, PA where it had been stored for many years.
At that time the car was completely gone through with everything refreshed or rebuilt as needed and was completely painted around 2015.
The body is solid with no rust and, as can be seen by the pictures, the paint is beautiful.
The interior is in great shape and the floorboards are solid.
This car does not have a radio but is radio ready and goes where the ash tray is presently mounted.
The tires where replaced with new Corker radials in 2016 (date stamped 6.
00-16).
The car has been garage kept, driven occasionally, and exercised regularly.
Everything works as expected.
There are a number of new and original parts that will come with the car including; a new clutch disc and throw-out bearing kit with clutch accessory kit, oil seals, transmission & u-joint gasket set, the original hubcaps, and the original grille.
This car is being offered at $19,000 but will consider any reasonable offer.
