For DIESEL TRUCKS, this sensor will work ONLY on models made 2008 and newer . For OTHER DIESEL vehicle types, this sensor will work on models made 2006 and newer . About FixD sensor usage: The FixD App will sync automatically and wirelessly to 200+ leading iOS and Android devices using Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology. You can also open the app to manually sync the app with the sensor. This will allow the app to communicate to the sensor while you are driving so it can alert you if a problem is detected. About the 1 year warranty: The warranty is valid for 1 year since the eBay date of purchase. To service the warranty, you would simply contact FIXD customer service direct from their website (Google: FIXD) and provide them with your FIXD Order # and zip code of the original delivery address. That Order # will be printed on the outside shipping label, just above the tracking barcode. It will read like this - PACKAGE ID #: FIXDXXXXXX - So, upon receipt of your sensor, please keep the original packaging/label handy or simply write down the Package ID / Order # and keep that info stored away.
